Palm Island is located on the west side of Florida, right on the Gulf of Mexico. Accessible only by a short ferry ride across the Intercoastal Waterway, it is very secluded and away from the rest of the world. Here at Palm Island you can enjoy the beaches in solitude, find thousands of seashells along the shoreline, and relax without hearing any city noise.
Palm Island is accessible via the Palm Island Transit Ferry.
(Please note – Google Maps adds approximately 20 minutes to your directions for the ferry crossing, but it’s often a much quicker transit!)
