Amenities of Beach Lover

Here is a list of some of our featured amenities!

  • Peaceful, quiet, some of the best views on the island at this new home, just completed in the fall of 2006.
  • High speed internet, wireless or wired. Included in rental fee.
  • Filtered water for the ice cubes and refrigerator. The water on the island is of good quality and can be used for drinking and cooking, but it does have a taste that some find disagreeable. Most people buy bottled water for drinking, but the ice cubes can still have “the island taste” We have installed a filter on the water to the refrigerator so you have good tasting ice cubes and have filtered water available through the in-the-door dispenser for ice and water.
  • Covered screened porches on the front and beach side of the house for sitting in the shade or if the bugs are a problem. If you want to sit in the sun, or lay out at night and look at the beautiful night sky, you can sit on the uncovered sun deck and be at the beach without being in the sand.
  • Outdoor enclosed shower with hot and cold water to rinse off before going inside from the beach.
  • Covered parking under the house for 2-3 vehicles or golf carts. The front steps to the house are covered as well, so if you arrive during a tropical shower, you can get into the house without being rained on.
  • Cable TV with local stations (most of the island homes are on satellite systems, and you cannot get the local weather station and cannot watch TV if a storm rolls through.
  • Free local and long distance phone calls, cordless phone in the house as well.
  • DVD and VHS player with widescreen TV and surround sound. It also plays CDs so bring your favorite Jimmy Buffett CD or DVD!
  • Seating for 8 at the kitchen table or on the deck with awesome views of the sunset from either place.
  • Fully equipped kitchen, including pots and pans, dishes, knives, coffee maker, blender, and more.
  • The best feature: you are right on the beach! When you step off the back step, you are on the beach and the Gulf of Mexico is only steps away.
